How to Map Channels

Channels can be grouped into channel groups, similar to how market segments are grouped into segment groups.

The channel groups are not static like the segment groups; for each hotel the channel groups can be defined separately.

This functionality can be accessed by users who also have access to the Settings functionality. This sub-menu lays under “Administration” menu.

  1. Manage Groups – a pop up windows opens from where the user can add new groups, edit or delete existing ones.
  2. List of channels received through PMS data.
  3. Channel Group – fields where the mapping is done with the desired channel group.
  4. Merge Into – fields where channels can be merged so that the business recorded for that channel will be added to the channel it has been merged to.
